Super 8 by Wyndham Spirit Lake/Okoboji

We were quite pleased with this Super 8. The owner was very active in the day to day running of the place. Nice people. Loved the room, loved the shower, loved the breakfast. We stayed 5 days. Will be back!!!

We enjoyed our stay here....bathroom was updated and best of all a very comfortable chair and ottoman was furnished....

We just stayed there overnight, but it was decent. The beds were comfortable enough, and clean. Someone had tracked mud in on the first floor common areas, though, that hadn't yet been cleaned up. We had to make a call to get the employee to come to the desk to check in and again to check out the next morning. No elevator to get yourself and luggage to the 2nd floor, and the employee didn't offer to assist. There were not really places to lay out your luggage to get things in and out of it, except on the bed itself. We had two double beds in our room. The fridge worked, and I stored my water bottle in there overnight. We glanced in at the breakfast nook in the morning, but we had not planned to eat there anyway, as we preferred to go out to eat at a local place with some history! My big complaint, and it is probably nothing the hotel could do anything about, but not sure. There was some bass beat going on all night long. We both heard it through the night, even though we had a white noise machine running. I am assuming it was not from another room in the hotel, but from some business or home nearby.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend the super 8 spirit lake.

I dont know why there’s alot of bad review but we had an awesome stay! We came in a little bit earlier than the check in time but we were given our card key right away. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. They had good breakfast too (Pictures attached). One thing that bothered us was that we can hear the noice from the other room but it was nothing. We had a good stay and good sleep. Free parking too.

We were on a motorcycle trip when one of our bikes broke down. Super 8 was close, so we stopped in and asked if they had a room and if we could check in early, sure enough, they had a room and no issues checking in early. The staff accommodated our situation wonderfully, even getting us a ground floor room to make sure we could see the bike. The room was newly renovated, spacious and clean. No complaints and we'd stay here again without hesitation. Nice, safe town with a nice place to stay.

I would highly recommend, as it was a very nice hotel and also for a great price! It was newly renovated so all of the rooms were very nice! The rooms also had a pretty big mini fridge which was nice! The service and workers there were all very nice and very helpful!! The only thing I would say is that the breakfast was kind of lacking.
